With this, denizens of the lower levels coined the phrase "better a black sun than none." The Black Sun Eirenic held a massive amount of reach and influence, extending its tendrils of corruption deep in the various galactic governments of each era. The syndicate was also known to have several hideouts in remote, scarcely populated planets of the Outer Rim Territories. Soon, The Black Sun Eirenic became the most powerful and infamous crime syndicate of its time in the galaxy. Its information networks, which reached even the garrisons and intelligence offices of the Empire, rivaled even the accuracy and scope of Imperial Intelligence. The resources available to The Black Sun Eirenic rivaled those belonging to a large planetary army."
