Description
In the 19th Century, Alamorra had a reputation for arbitrary "frontier justice" and as late as 1870 there was no functioning legal system in Alamorra. Upon the formation of the Union, the State of Alamorra formally established the Supreme Court of Alamorra and the various lower courts of Alamorra. Today, the Alamorra District Courts are the court of first instance for all civil and criminal cases, serving as the trial courts of general jurisdiction. The Alamorra Supreme Court hears all appellate cases regardless of whether they are criminal or civil. The Alamorra Supreme Court sits in the Supreme Court Building located in Anson.
