Description

The New Waterloo Army National Guard, or the New Waterloo National Guard (NWNG), is the military reserve branch of the New Waterloo Armed Forces (NWAF). The NWNG is made up of five (5) divisions, one from each of the five (5) states of the Grand Republic. The NWNG is a quick response force, designed to provide immediate military relief whether it be to maintain order, provide for the welfare of the people, or to fend off against a threat to the Republic. The NWNG is commanded by the President of New Waterloo, who in turn appoints a Secretary of Defense to oversee the standards and battle readiness of the National Guard in civil disobedience or domestic threats. Each division however is autonomously commanded by the Governor of that division's state of origin, who in turn appoints a Major General to lead military operations.
