Description
A special operations group meant to go behind enemy lines and sever vital communication lines and taking out isolated outposts mainly specializing in Jungle warfare, Kookaburra Company was formed in 1919 when the UATC needed elite soldiers that preformed better and more efficiently then their private military. The majority of the Kookaburra company is made up of former ANZACs that fought in Campaigns throughout WWI. Kookaburra Company Commandos can commonly be seen with their Australian Imperial Force badges on their berets to symbolize their past service. Kookaburra Company is named after the Australian bird known as the "Kookaburra" the Kookaburra is the largest bird of the Kingfisher family and makes a laughing noise when other birds are nearby that kind of sounds like the automatic fire of a machine gun, Hence the name Kookaburra.
