The Hohenmark Empire #35547620
Description
By the early 20th century, the Hohenmark Empire loomed over Europe—a towering colossus of coal and crown. Beneath Silberstadt’s spires, zeppelins drifted like ghosts above soot-stained rooftops as gothic tradition meshed with grinding steel. The ancient blood of House von Silberthal pulsed through iron rails, thundered in factories, and echoed in arias above clanging ironworks. Its Imperial Defense Corps marched unchallenged—mechanized legions, air cavalry, and smoke-belching battle-walkers kept the empire’s grip ironclad. But empires built on blood do not sleep peacefully. In autumn 1932, soldiers wandered no man’s land—lifeless, yet walking. Then the dead rose. First from the mud-choked Tarnwald, then the banks of the Wesen and finally outside defiant Kessach. Scholars whispered of The Blight of Urdnacht—a curse from forgotten times, its grave torn open by the Great Continental War. What once died for the empire now marched against it—and no bullet could keep them down for long.
