Description
🌿Kingdom Of Westphalen🌿 The Kingdom of Westphalia was created by Napoleon in 1807 after his victory over Prussia, carved from Prussian and other German territories. Napoleon installed his younger brother, Jérôme Bonaparte, as king, making Westphalia a model state for Napoleonic reforms like the Napoleonic Code and the abolition of feudalism. Despite its progressive laws, Westphalia faced resistance from locals and struggled with heavy taxation and conscription to support Napoleon’s wars.
