Demarcation Line #35549346

Description
The Demarcation Line (DL), located in the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), is a unique and heavily guarded area where North and South Korean forces face each other directly. It’s a symbol of the ongoing tension and division between the two Koreas since the Korean War (1950–1953) ended in an armistice rather than a peace treaty. The JSA is best known for its blue "Conference Rooms," where diplomatic talks and negotiations have historically taken place. These rooms are situated directly on the border, with one half of the room in South Korea and the other in North Korea. It's one of the few places where troops from both countries stand just a few meters apart, separated by nothing more than a thin line of concrete or sometimes just a table. ——————————————————————————————- Community Management: epicmonocle DarlyMcbricks
