At 20, 𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲 "𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀" for his band but gave it to Billie, 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝘁. (which turned out to be true!). They shared it on SoundCloud & got amazing feedback. In 2015, Finneas's manager saw Billie's potential, leading to her signing with Darkroom/Interscope Records.
