A R N O R ──────────────────── Arnor, also known as the Northern Kingdom, was a realm of the Dúnedain, located in the northwestern region of Eriador. It was founded in the year S.A. 3320 by Elendil after the downfall of Númenor. Arnor was one of the two major successor kingdoms of Númenor, alongside Gondor in the south. Unlike its southern counterpart Gondor, which flourished into a great empire, Arnor gradually declined due to internal divisions, conflicts with neighboring powers, and persistent wars against the dark realm of Angmar.
