Team Diac was a prominent rally team associated with Renault during the 1980s and early 1990s. Sponsored by Diac, a French subsidiary of RCI Banque specializing in automotive financing, the team played a significant role in Renault's motorsport endeavors. One of the team's notable participations was in the 1984 Monte Carlo Rally, where drivers François Chatriot and Daniel Brichot competed in a Renault 5 Turbo adorned with the distinctive Diac livery. Although they did not finish the race, their involvement highlighted the team's competitive spirit. In 1986, Team Diac achieved a significant victory at the Rally du Var. François Chatriot, alongside co-driver Michel Périn, drove the Renault R5 Maxi Turbo to first place, marking a milestone in the team's history. Beyond rallying, Diac extended its sponsorship to Formula 1. On March 23, 2010, Renault F1 Team announced that the Diac brand would feature on their R30 race cars for upcoming World
