𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐍𝐎 𝐃'𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐀🧭 c. 1861–1946 The Kingdom of Italy is a sovereign nation located in Southern Europe, comprising the Italian Peninsula, the islands of Sicily and Sardinia, and a number of surrounding minor territories. This alternative-historical version of the Regno d'Italia is set in the 1940s and functions within a unique universe unbound by the events and ideologies of real-world history. The state is organized under a monarchical structure, with a strong central government, a royal court, and a bureaucracy that oversees the functioning of its institutions. Known for its majestic architecture, classical legacy, and strategic location in the Mediterranean, the Kingdom of Italy in this universe is a fusion of tradition, innovation, and national unity. The Alpine borders protect the northern frontier, while the Tyrrhenian and Adriatic Seas provide maritime access and trade opportunities.
