Description
Previously a conglomerate of small, unorganized volunteer lifeboat stations along the Mayflower coastline responsible for providing rescue services to vessels and people in distress throughout the 1800's, the Mayflower State Lifesaving Association (MSLA) was formally established in June of 1923 as a non-for-profit organization with government support, capable of saving the lives of those distressed at sea.
