Description
House Connington of Griffin's Roost controls from a fortress that looks like it grew out of the stone itself on the jagged cliffs of Cape Wrath. Once one of the most powerful and proud families in the Stormlands, their sigil shows two griffins fighting, which is a symbol of their fierce nature that mirrors the pounding waves below. The Conningtons lost their estates and power during Robert's Rebellion, but their name is still associated with iron-willed loyalty and a "red" temperament. Their past is full of great highs and terrible lows, and they hold on to their ancestral throne like a bird of prey guarding a nest that is getting smaller. If you cross a griffin, you will remember them for a long time and have a keen beak. They will never forget the greatness they once had or the people who took it from them.
