Description
The Columbia Department of Defense (DoD) is the core governing entity that manages and coordinates all the military operations to maintain national defense and security. Established during the establishment of Columbia, the DoD unifies the Army, Navy, Air Force, and other departments into a unified command structure for effective defense operations and strategic planning. Responsible for maintaining the nation's military readiness, the DoD oversees the development of high-tech weapons, soldier training, and defense strategy. It provides critical decision support to Columbia's government, organizing resources, logistics, and defense agreements. The guiding principles of Strength, Unity, and Preparedness inform the activities of the DoD, in pursuit of Columbia's defense forces being able to respond to any threat to the world. Through embracing both conventional and cyber warfare, the DoD seeks to ensure that the Union remains strong, unified, and defended amid an ever-evolving world.
