1st Cavalry Division 11th Aviation Group 11th Pathfinder Company ⍟━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⍟ The 11th Pathfinder Company was a specialized reconnaissance unit of the US Army during the Vietnam War, tasked with providing accurate landing zone guidance for airborne and airmobile operations. Pathfinders were elite soldiers trained in navigation, parachuting, and air traffic control, often inserted ahead of main forces to mark and secure drop zones or landing areas. They played a critical role in coordinating helicopter assaults and resupply missions in the dense jungles of Vietnam.
