Description

1ER BATAILLON, ROYAL 22E RÉGIMENT 1ST BATTALION, ROYAL 22ND REGIMENT The 1st Battalion of the Royal 22e Régiment is one of Canada's primary French-speaking infantry units. In April 1992, the Regiment was deployed to the Balkans as part of Canada’s contribution to United Nations peacekeeping efforts during the Yugoslav Wars. Operating under the mandate of the United Nations Protection Force (UNPROFOR), the battalion was tasked with monitoring ceasefires, protecting civilians, and supporting humanitarian operations in the rapidly deteriorating and increasingly violent region of Croatia.

Growth

3 measurements spanning 25 days, net -2. Dots are measurements; the straight line between them is drawn to join them, not to claim we know the path taken in between — snapshots are recorded only when a count changes, so gaps mean “no change observed”, never “interpolated”. The vertical axis spans 18–20 and does not start at zero.
