Södermаnlаnds Reɡemente #35643240
Description
"Värjan vinnes med ära" Founded in 1627, the Södermanlands Regiment served as an elite Swedish infantry unit from the Thirty Years' War to the Napoleonic Era. Stationed in Strängnäs, it defended Sweden’s borders and fought in key conflicts like the Finnish War (1808–1809) and the Swedish-Norwegian War (1814). Known for their discipline and loyalty to the Crown, they wore dark blue uniforms with yellow facings and proudly bore the golden griffin of Södermanland.
