Democratic Party for a New Society (DPNS) Left Wing Socialists Motto: "Peace and Solidarity /ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးနှင့် စည်းလုံးညီညွတ်ရေး" The DPNS was founded by students and youth as the political wing representing the ABSU. It initially worked alongside other pro-democracy groups but later separated and registered as an independent party. The DPNS presents itself as a people-focused, left-wing movement emphasizing social justice, youth leadership, and peaceful political change. Economically, the party aims for a China-styled socialist development model focused on stability, state-led growth, and sustainable national progress. It promotes social welfare, equality, and policies designed to uplift communities while building a unified and socially responsible society.
