Guards Armoured Division Units: 5th Brigade The main home defence units of the United Kingdom, containing the Irish Guards Regiment and the Grenadier Guards Regiment. They perform defensive duties and perform ceremonies. 32nd Brigade This is the main infantry force of the British Expeditionary Force leading on the frontlines. They fought in Normandy in Operation Overlord and defeat the enemy with skill and power. They contain the Welsh Guards and Coldstream Guards.
