𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐎 • 𝐕𝐈 • 𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐀 SIXTH IRONCLAD LEGION Founded by Gaius Julius Caesar in 52 BC, Legio VI Ferrata was involved in Caesar's famous Siege of Alesia, his campaign in Hispania, and the siege of Alexandria. Consequently, the legion participated in the civil war between Antony and Augustus and it participated in the Battle of Actium. Currently, the legion is stationed at Legio, a fortress north of Aelia Capitolina.
