Description
Ferox Innovative began in the 2040s as a global climate research coalition. Their final project, CE-X (Climate Equalizer Iteration 9), was created to cool the planet and stop environmental collapse. It worked. But it went too far. CE-X triggered a worldwide deep freeze. Entire regions were flash-frozen. Ecosystems mutated. Infected humans became hostile crystalline anomalies, frozen but still alive. As the world collapsed, Ferox retreated to the VCF (Variable Climate Facility), a fortified underground complex beneath the Savarian Mountain range. Once a climate monitoring station, it became a command center and final refuge. Today, Ferox is one of the last organized powers on Earth. From the VCF, they protect, control, and survive. You can stay out of their reach, fight back, or join their ranks. The cold is not natural anymore. Ferox is what remains. "Adapt. Advance. Endure."
