Description
A crime family from Caltagirone started by Vito Promazzio who is a U.S. ex immigrant, former veteran, and now the boss of the family. He came to Chicago in 1940 as a 17 year old young man. Leaving his mother behind so he could strive and see her again. He enlisted in the army and fought in the Italian war. He was the only one who survived out of his own platoon. After getting back from the war, he tried to go straight but was inevitably brought into the life. He was 22 when he started working for the Chicago Outfit. He became a made man at just 26 in 1949. He would work under Capo Sal Russo and after Russo was popped, he got upped and became Capo. He was 32. In 1957, he wanted to go back to the roots creating the Caltagirone Family. Leaving his other family behind and starting a new one was hard. He worked hard and gained respect of a honorary man. At 38, he’s one of the most respected bosses in Chicago all the way to Los Angeles. The Caltagirone Family, nothing better.
