𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 The United States Secret Service is primarily responsible for safeguarding the President, Vice President, and other key government officials, as well as investigating and preventing various forms of threats against them. Established in 1865 to combat counterfeiting, the Secret Service's mission has expanded to include protection duties and criminal investigations related to its protective mandate. "Worthy of Trust and Confidence."
