Description
The Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division (CVE) consists of nine geographic regions with 20 inspection stations located throughout the state. Nineteen of those inspection stations are located on the interstate systems, with one station being located on a Georgia State Route. The primary focus of CVE is the enhancement of highway safety regarding commercial motor vehicles. CVE Officers perform in-depth complex safety inspections of the commercial vehicle, its operator, and the load to ensure that they pose no identifiable risk to the safety of the motoring public.
