Description
Deadlands is a upcoming gritty, Western sandbox game set in the Utah frontier during 1857 a time when the West was still wild and nothing was certain. The land is torn between four major forces, each fighting for control. The Mormon Militia, once known as the Nauvoo Legion, is building a theocratic stronghold and fiercely defending its settlements. Native tribes like the Ute, Shoshone, and Paiute are resisting settlers and military forces in an effort to reclaim what was once theirs. The U.S. Army is pushing west, expanding forts and enforcing federal authority with ruthless efficiency. And then there are the Outlaws a scattered but dangerous wave of raiders, bandits, and mercenaries chasing wealth, power, and chaos. Among them are groups like the ruthless Burlap Boys, known for their fearsome reputation and disturbing presence on the frontier. In Deadlands, players must find their own path through this unforgiving world.
