Description
The Lore of the Ironwood Apes Long before recorded history, in the heart of the great Ironwood Forest, a great clan of apes lived in peace. They were a people of natural strength and keen intellect, but they were unburdened by conflict. Their lives were simple, centered on the bounties of the forest and the wisdom of their elders. This peace was shattered when a great star, a shard of pure, burning celestial metal, fell from the sky and crashed into their sacred grove. The meteor's impact burned a vast crater, and its heat warped the very earth around it. The clan elders, fearing the fire, ordered their people away. But one young ape, a quick-witted and brave soul named Kael, was captivated. He saw not destruction, but a tool. Over many cycles of the moon, Kael learned to shape the strange metal. With crude tools and sheer will, he forged the first suit of armor, a radiant shell that gleamed like moonlight on water.
