Description
i found a little star today, so i put it in my pocket. it whispered, "don't worry, i'll keep you company." i laughed and skipped all the way home. i made paper boats and watched them sail away. i waved at every single one, even the ones that never came back. the flowers don't talk anymore, but i still tell them stories. maybe they're just sleepy. maybe i'll be sleepy too. if you can't find me tomorrow, don't be sad. i probably wandered off to play somewhere quiet, where the sky is always soft, the grass never hurts, and nobody has to say goodbye. until then, i'll keep smiling just like a kid who doesn't know they're already walking toward the end of the story.
