Description
The King’s Amphibious 16th Air Assault Battalion is an elite, joint-service rapid deployment force of the Royal Air Force Regiment, tasked with securing and holding forward operating bases in contested coastal and riverine zones. Drawing on the traditions of the Royal Marines Commandos, the precision of The Rifles, and the operational reach of UK Special Forces, this battalion is designed for amphibious, airborne, and expeditionary warfare anywhere in the world.
