Description
The Judge Advocate General's Corps is the legal affairs arm of the Sol Defense Corps. It is responsible for enforcing the Space Maritime Law and the Uniform Code of Military Justice within the ranks of the SDC's branches. Commissioned officers take the role of Judge Advocates, military lawyers responsible for affairs in courts-martial and external affairs involving the SDC, while enlisted personnel serve as paralegals responsible for assisting their assigned JA with anything they may need to effectively uphold the SDC's legal system. The Corps works closely with the Naval Security Forces, relying on them to enforce the laws.
