━━━━━━THE JEDI ORDER━━━━━━━ The Jedi Order of the Republic was a monastic, spiritual, and paramilitary organization that served as peacekeepers of the Galactic Republic for thousands of years. They were deeply connected to the Force, a mystical energy field that granted them extraordinary abilities, which they used to maintain balance and uphold justice. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ROLE IN THE REPUBLIC The Jedi worked alongside the Galactic Senate as diplomats, mediators, and warriors when necessary. Though they upheld peace, their increasing political involvement in Republic affairs, especially during the Clone Wars, led to their downfall. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ LEGACY Despite their near-extinction, Jedi like Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and later Luke Skywalker helped preserve and rebuild the Jedi Order, ensuring its teachings lived on.
