Kaihō-ha [反権力革命行動委員会] #35802685
Description
Formed during the waves of student unrest in the late 1960s and 1970s, Kaihō-ha emerged as one of the most extreme offshoots of the Zengakuren movement. Unlike other factions that sought to establish a new system, Kaihō-ha rejected all forms of hierarchy—whether capitalist, socialist, or imperialist. They viewed authority itself as an oppressive force that had to be resisted through direct action. By 1988, Kaihō-ha had launched a series of bold resistance campaigns, aiming to dismantle state control and disrupt societal order. Operating primarily in Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Ueno, they became infamous for their defiant tactics. While other factions debated ideology, Kaihō-ha embraced action, believing that change could only come through relentless struggle. Their ultimate goal was not to create a new system, but to ensure that no oppressive power could ever take root again. Est. 25/03/24 We are not a yakuza group or bike gang.
