The Republic of Corvella is a sovereign island nation off Africa’s eastern coast, near Zanzibar. Known for its beaches, rich culture, and growing economy, its capital, Corvellaine, blends modern and traditional architecture. Formerly a British protectorate, Corvella gained independence on July 12, 1964, after settlers of European descent pushed for self-governance.
