Description
🇬🇧 The Houses of Parliament 🇬🇧 The Houses of Parliament are the center of lawmaking and national discussion in the United Kingdom. They are made up of two parts: the House of Commons and the House of Lords. Together, they work to pass laws, examine national issues, and represent the interests of the people. The House of Commons is made up of elected members who speak for their communities. The House of Lords includes appointed and hereditary members who review and suggest changes to new laws. Both Houses play a key role in keeping the government accountable and protecting democratic values. With deep roots in history and a strong focus on public service, the Parliament is a symbol of free speech, fair law, and national leadership.
