A purple portal emerging from the black void. Dripping with ink, spiders, and the screams of others. What seemed to once be a happy place, once ruled by a merciful deity. But all good things must come to an end, correct? As the ones who raised you had been thrown away, a new one arose from her grave, FORCING those to kneel and bow in her return to the mortal realm. Maybe someday you'd also be a loose puppet on a string. The lonely sands, the horrific screams of terror and the cries of children who had never been born. Tread lightly, and maybe you'll be able to take your shot at regaining your humanity; your morals and sanity. Continue on and stretch the rules. Standing against the trees; the only gift of oxygen that you'd been granted. There IS no God here to save you now, friend. Only a fake stepping in what once to be in its place. Fear, torment, tears, and death. The only place you call home now is a shell of what it formerly used to be. Welcome to Umber City.
