Description
We are a historical militia group which portrays the company of men serving under the command of Captain John Parker. On April 19th, 1775, it was the militiamen of the town of Lexington which stood their ground on the day that the shot was heard around the world. Contrary to popular historical belief, it was not the minutemen that stood on Lexington Green that day, but rather the militia. Known officially as the Lexington Training Band, it was these brave men who first answered the call.
