Description

𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐎: Shortly after the humiliating defeat at Bladensburg and the burning of Washington in August 1814, Secretary of War James Monroe was tasked with reorganizing the demoralized American forces. The regular army underwent significant transformation in structure and training to become a more effective fighting force by early 1815. The Northern Division, under command of Major General Jacob Brown with multiple regiments, would play a pivotal role in the Niagara Frontier campaign, participating in significant battles extending from Chippawa to the final engagements along the Canadian border before news of the Treaty of Ghent reached North America. We're set primarily during the Battle of New Orleans.
