Kingdom of Moldavia #35838582
OtherENHistoryMedievalRoleplay
Description
Moldavia in the 14th century was a principality that blended various cultural influences, from Byzantine to Hungarian, in its military, political, and cultural life. The military structure was deeply hierarchical, with the Voivode at the top and the boyars forming a powerful elite that played a crucial role in governance and warfare. While the term "King" wasn't used for the ruler, the Voivode held a comparable level of power and prestige. Military uniforms and armor were heavily influenced by the broader Eastern European and Byzantine styles, showcasing both practical functionality and the nobility’s status.
