Description
The Eastern Army is one of five active Armies of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force. Its responsibility is the defense of the Kantō and the Northern half of the Chūbu region of Japan. The 1st Infantry, inside the Eastern Army has a total of 3 Infantry Regiments. The entirety of the 1st Infantry is responsible for the safety and security of the Tokyo metropolitan Area.
