The gold rush period of the 1840s combined with vast land saw a mass influx of people flocking west towards the newly founded territory of Dawson. Settlers quickly discovered that Dawson was a slice of paradise nestled amongst the Rockies, with stunning wildlife, beautiful fauna and lots of land provided newcomers with plenty of opportunity. Now the year is 1891. Times have been tough but the promise of Dawson remains for the many settlers. Large reserves of precious materials have been found in the once unknown Sonterra County, and now people are rushing towards Dawson yet again to get a piece.
