Description

The Nanboku-Chou, was a period of time in Japanese history spanning from 1336 to 1392. With the main center point of it being the rise and consolidation of the Ashikaga Shogunate, removing the crumbling Kamakura Shogunate and challenging the Emperor Go-Daigo and his Heian restorationist intentions, creating their own string of puppeted Emperors in Kyoto where Go-Daigo had fled, moving south towards Yoshino in Yamato Province. Nanboku-Chou, aims to replicate this crucial slice of Japanese history, whilst retaining a strong element of fairness and fun to keep the times entertaining and help people learn of this often overlooked and snubbed era.
