Following the stabilization of the domestic political climate, the Sanation government adopted an assertive foreign policy to secure Polish interests. In 1933, the State executed a preventative mobilization to maintain the demilitarization of Germany. By directly enforcing international mandates, Poland established military oversight in the Polish-German border zones.
