Description

Velmourne Academy was founded in 1343 in early Medieval France, during a time where occult knowledge, spiritual order, and hidden magical practices quietly shaped the world behind the veil of ordinary society. It was established through the combined will of three founding figures: the Mayoress Anora, a disciplined and authoritative leader who sought to bring structure to arcane study; the Reverend Priestess, a spiritual guide who anchored the academy in sacred ritual and ancient doctrine; and the Governesse Amber, a strategist and guardian of knowledge who ensured the preservation and controlled expansion of forbidden and enlightened arts. Together, they created Velmourne as a sanctuary of power, education, and discipline for those born with or awakened to the arcane. Over centuries, it evolved into a prestigious institution where magic is refined, lineage is studied, and only those who prove mastery over their abilities are allowed to rise through its ranks. ≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≠≈
