𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍-𝐈𝐈𝐈 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌 Section III – Special Projects Division The SPARTAN-III Program was an advanced supersoldier initiative administered by ONI Section III as a successor to the SPARTAN-II Program. Developed under the direction of Dr. Catherine Halsey’s successor teams and supervised by Colonel James Ackerson, the program sought to create cost-effective, large-scale deployments of augmented soldiers to counter the escalating Covenant threat.
