Description
House Rimintill rose from obscurity when its founder, Horthien Rimintill, a half-elven adventurer and legendary swordsman, was crowned King of Thismonia in 1481 A.C. Renowned for uniting the realm and leading campaigns against marauders and foreign powers, Horthien centralized authority and reformed both military and spiritual institutions. After abdicating the throne to battle dark forces in the Dreadlands, Horthien vanished into myth. Decades later, his forgotten sons, raised in secrecy, rediscovered their heritage when Thismonian refugees fled to their estate. In a battle against a new Dreadlord, Horthien II emerged as a hero, donning the sacred armor of his father. Rallying refugees, knights, and nobles alike, he led a counterattack against an orc invasion and was crowned King Rimintill II in 1534 A.C., restoring House Rimintill as the rightful rulers and saviors of a fractured Thismonia.
