They often report locally to nationally to humanitarian and militarized branches ahead of time. They often are useful for ensuring safety of aircraft operations, ground operations, transportation, escorting anomalous objects, protecting local population, and evacuations. The name "Samaras" has been chosen to commemorate 3 members of the Tactical Weather-Instrumented Sampling in/near Tornadoes Experiment (TWISTEX) team. “Signatures of Death.”
