The operate and report directly to the O5 Council. It is tasked with various investigative and specialized tasks performed in the interest of Foundation security. BIS operations are top secret to ensure the safeguarding of critical Foundation infrastructure, preliminary identification and elimination of threats before they can transpire, countersubversion, internal security, and varying other affairs.
