Description

The 1st Special Air Service Regiment (1 SAS Regt) is a tier 1 special operations regiment of the Vacaltan Army. Formed in 1948 as V Detachment, 22 Special Air Service (United Kingdom), the unit has evolved into Vacaltar's elite special forces unit. The unit has seen actions in the Malayan Emergency, the Vietnam and Korean Wars, the First Gulf War, and the Global War on Terror (GWOT). It's sister units are No. 12 Squadron of the Royal Vacaltan Air Force, and the Special Boat Service of the Royal Vacaltan Navy. Together, they form the combat special forces element, Joint Task Force 13 (JTF 13). The Regimental Headquarters is based in Carleton Barracks, Argyll. The regiment consists of two sabre squadrons - Alpha and Delta Squadrons. "Who dares wins"
