Founded: March 12, 1976 Motto: "Truth Through Evidence" The Criminal Investigations and Forensic Services Division (CIS) of the Briar Creek Sheriff's Office was formed to lead in the pursuit of justice through meticulous investigation and forensic excellence. Since 1976, CIS has been at the forefront of solving crimes through diligent detective work, forensic science, and analytical expertise. Our division handles major crimes, evidence processing, digital forensics, and crime scene investigations, working tirelessly to uncover the truth and bring offenders to justice with precision and integrity.
