Founded: June 3, 1984 Motto: "Swift, Silent, Sure" The Briar Creek Sheriff's Office Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Division was established to provide a highly trained and specialized response to critical incidents beyond the scope of routine law enforcement. Since 1984, SWAT has been dedicated to safeguarding our community through precision, discipline, and rapid deployment in high-risk operations. From hostage rescues and barricaded subjects to high-risk warrants and counter-terror operations, our team stands ready to protect life and restore order with skill and professionalism.
