The Bearaska Department of Public Safety (Bearaska DPS) serves as the primary statewide law enforcement and public safety agency for the State of Bearaska. Modeled after the Alaska Department of Public Safety, the Bearaska DPS oversees a range of divisions including the Bearaska State Troopers, Bearaska Wildlife Troopers, Bearaska State Fire Marshals, Statewide Services and Village Public Safety Officers. With a mission to protect life, property, and wildlife in Bearaska’s vast and rugged terrain, Bearaska DPS operates in both rural and urban environments, ensuring professional, responsive, and community-oriented public safety services across the state.
